Shipping and Delivery Information

Thank you for choosing Board & Chisel.
Due to the size and weight of our cladding and flooring products, most orders
are delivered on pallets via kerbside delivery.

Kerbside Pallet Delivery (Standard)

Kerbside delivery means your order will be
delivered to the nearest safe point at the kerbside or edge of your property
(e.g., roadside, driveway entrance, or flat hardstanding area).

One-person delivery – the
driver will unload the pallet safely to the kerbside drop point.

Drivers cannot carry goods
inside your home, garden, garage, or upstairs.

Drivers cannot unpack pallets
or move individual boards beyond the drop-off point.

Unloading is typically carried
out using a tail lift and pallet truck (subject to access and ground
conditions).

Important – Please Plan Ahead

Ensure there is suitable
vehicle access for a large delivery vehicle.

·       
The delivery surface must be
solid and level (pallet trucks cannot operate on gravel, grass, or steep
slopes).

·       
If access is restricted (narrow
roads, rural lanes, tight turns), contact us before ordering.

·       
Ensure that you have suitable
people on site to move the order to the desired location.

·       
Do not leave these products in any
environment that is not climate controlled (eg a garage or a barn) as this may
cause warping and cracking.

Delivery Timeframes

Standard delivery: 3–7 working days after
you order is ready, but we will always get in touch to book delivery first.

Timed/Saturday delivery: Available upon
request (additional charge may apply).

You will receive tracking information but
this only updates on the day of delivery when the order is loaded onto its
delivery vehicle. If your order is on an afternoon slot, this means you may
receive the delivery window until the afternoon. Please ensure that someone is available
between 9-5 on the day of delivery.

Delivery Costs

Delivery charges are calculated at checkout
based on postcode, weight, and pallet quantity.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your goods upon delivery.
Any visible damage must be signed for as 'damaged' and reported to us within 48
hours with supporting photographs.
